Sable International at the 2016 Money Expo

by Sable International | Jul 14, 2016
  • The Sable International team attended the 2016 Money Expo, hosted by Moneyweb, at the Sandton Convention Centre on July 9 - 10. The exhibition focused on examining and reshaping the future of personal finance and how people handle their personal wealth. This year’s theme being "Earn It, Save It, Spend It".

The two day event featured over 70 exhibitors including the JSE, PayPal and the Financial Planning Institute of South Africa. Workshops were also conducted over the duration of the event discussing everything from Bitcoin technology and the incubation of fintech start-ups.

Sable International attended the expo presenting our services to attendees under the tag line: “Internationalise yourself, your wealth and your business”. As we plan to grow our service offering in South Africa, we thought it best to support the expo and engage with the Johannesburg business community.

One key benefit of our offering is that we are able to service both individuals and business alike and the expo provided an excellent platform for us to demonstrate this.

Some notable speakers included David Shapiro, Deputy Chairman of Sasfin securities and Dr Adrian Saville, Chief Strategist at Citadel & Cannon Asset Managers.

Overall our team thoroughly enjoyed the experience, including Anton van Teylingen, Samantha Carter-Vawda and Gary Davies and we look forward to attending the 2017 edition.
