The Greece Golden Visa programme allows investors to gain permanent residency through a qualifying property purchase in a maturing real-estate market. About the Malta Permanent Residence Programme

Make Malta your European Plan B or a more immediate Plan A through the Malta Permanent Residence Programme. Available for those looking to invest into property, or to commit to a long-term property rental, this is an appealing destination that blends the finest European city neighbourhoods, Middle Eastern architectural flair and British Westminster law. With a central Mediterranean location and exceptional airlift, it is the perfect hopping off point to explore all of Europe.

To qualify for the programme, investors are required to demonstrate a minimum net wealth of €500k, of which €150k should be held in financial assets (or minimum net wealth of €650k, of which €75k should be held in financial assets).

Benefits include:

  • Expedited route to residency of an EU member country: Applicants can apply for a one-year temporary residency card at the start of the application process which means that residency rights are secured within four weeks from the submission of biometrics.
  • Leads to indefinite permanent residency for all family members: Investors can include a spouse, partner, minor children, financially dependent children and dependant parents. Adult children never fall off the programme and all family members retain residency rights for life.
  • Visa-free travel: With Maltese residency, you can travel visa-free across the 29 Schengen countries for up to 90 days within any 180-day period, no additional visa required.
  • Relocation benefits: Offers access to high quality medical facilities and schooling establishments for those looking to settle in Malta. Repeatedly voted as one of the safest countries in Europe.
  • No annual minimum stay: Retain Maltese residency rights with the freedom to visit for as little or as long as you like each year.
  • No language test: English and Maltese are both official languages.
  • Flexible property options: Investors can invest into property (minimum €375,000) or can opt to lease property (minimum annual rental €14,000). Property investors are now permitted immediate leasing rights enabling them to lease their property to third parties for temporary periods during which they are not present in Malta.

About the Grenada citizenship-by-investment programme

Secure second citizenship and greater global mobility with Grenada’s citizenship-by-investment programme. Qualify by either donating from $235,000 to Grenada’s National Transformation Fund or investing $270,000 in approved real estate, with a minimum five-year hold.

Benefits include:

  • Global mobility: Visa-free travel to over 140 countries, including the EU, Schengen area, the UK, China, Hong Kong and Brazil.
  • Family benefits: Adult children up to the age of 29, parents over the age of 55 and single siblings with no children may also be included in the application.
  • No residency requirement: No physical residency requirement before or after citizenship is granted and no need to visit Grenada during the application process.
  • Tax benefits: Grenada has a source-based income tax with no wealth or inheritance tax. There are no taxes on the repatriation of profits.
  • Dual citizenship: Grenada does not impose restrictions on dual citizenship

John joined Sable International in 2008 and has managed multiple divisions during his time with the company.

He has over a decade of experience in immigration, citizenship and residency-by-investment. He combines that with a background in sales, marketing and management to ensure that Sable International is the go to for all things relating to citizenship and immigration around the world.

Outside of work, John is dedicated to his young family. He enjoys fitness activities and loves the outdoors.

Originally from the UK, Sarah is well-travelled – having worked in France, South America and Botswana before settling in Cape Town. She graduated at the top of her class with a BA (Hons) in International Business before spending 15 years in hospitality. During this time, she gained a clear understanding of the need for global mobility through her own experience.

Sarah currently oversees Sable International’s Investment Migration casework team, assisting clients with finding the programme which best fits their needs. Once people have chosen their route to global citizenship, her team assists them every step of the way through the entire process.

In her free time Sarah enjoys life outdoors, spending time with family and friends paired with laughter, good food and wine.
