Our Cape Town Marketing department is looking to add a Graphic Designer to our team. We offer a dynamic environment in which you will be designing for a variety of business units including property, sports recruitment, studying abroad, financial services and more.
Job overview:
You will be working in close collaboration with an energetic, in-house Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have three years of experience in Graphic Design preferably in an advertising agency, strong print design skills and a portfolio that showcases creativity and technical expertise.
Please note this is an on-site position in our offices in Kenilworth, Cape Town.
You’re perfect for this position if you:
- Have three years of experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably within an agency or in-house marketing team
- Are proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (expertise with InDesign and Illustrator essential)
- Can demonstrate strong print layout skills and a deep understanding of visual hierarchy, typography and colour theory.
- Have experience prepping documents and designs for print
- Can be creative and add a personal touch, while keeping to the guidelines of a CI
- Are flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Have a positive, can-do attitude and great attention to detail
- Are a team player with a strong work ethic
- Are organised, deadline-driven and able to manage your time effectively
Your role and responsibilities:
Among other tasks, your main responsibilities will include:
- Working alongside members of the marketing team in developing a dynamic design presence for each of the businesses in the Sable International portfolio as well as the Group brand
- Designing and developing visual assets for campaigns, including printed brochures, flyers, event collateral (e.g. pull up banners), documents, branded merchandise, etc. These will mainly be in the print space, but you may be required to assist with digital assets as well from time to time.
- Collaborating with other designers, copywriters, developers and business stakeholders
- Upholding brand guidelines and ensuring we maintain the integrity of our Corporate Identity
- Staying up to date with design tools and trends

Tallulah's story
Marketing Manager
Tallulah started as a junior social media strategist in 2014. In 2020 she started assisting the content team, using her journalism background. In 2022 she was promoted to content and traffic lead, before taking on the role of Marketing Manager in February 2023. She now manages a team of 11 creative individuals across content, SEO, PPC, design, social media and front end development.
