  • Have previous relevant industry experience
  • Have a diploma or degree preferably 
  • Have key customer service and sales skills
  • Can take initiative, be self-motivated and proactive
  • Have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage professionally with international clients and partners
  • Are computer literate, proficient in typing, and have experience using MS Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Have excellent reporting skills

Your role and responsibilities:

Among other tasks, your main responsibilities will include:

Application management:

  • Dealing with enquiries from students, parents and partner agents; providing written and verbal guidance and advice 
  • Preparing applications and supporting documentation 
  • Evaluating applications and assessing documentation
  • Processing applications on behalf of partner agents once all are accurate and the student is qualified for the programme before processing
  • Acting as a primary knowledge source for study and visa application process
  • Reviewing relevant study or visa refusals and completing all procedural requirements 

 Client management:

  • Building and sustaining relationships with schools, teachers, parents, partner agents and students in process
  • Managing and developing client relationships – ensure optimum growth in student numbers and client satisfaction within the higher education markets
  • Taking the student from first touching point through registration to enrolment
  • Optimising the student experience in line with Study Abroad’s quality standards and values
  • Arranging and attending regular client meetings when required
  • Working alongside the business development function in securing new clients

Business development:

  • New business generation and development – assisting with lead generation and a focus on conversion
  • Accurately presenting and communicating Study Abroad’s study services to convert warm leads into sales
  • Planning and forecasting to ensure that targets are achieved
  • Managing and developing new partner agent channels
  • Maintaining excellent application submission levels
  • Assisting in the overall marketing efforts and conducting presentations

Client reporting and compliance:

  • Producing ad-hoc reports as required by clients and partner agents
  • Ensuring that the client is protected in terms of visa obligations
  • Consulting and advising prospective students and learners on their applications and supporting the visa process in ensuring the client continues to meet and exceed the student visa obligations 
  • Ensuring document retention responsibilities are complied with and maintaining accurate and up-to-date client data on the CRM system

Ad-hoc:

  • Providing regular feedback to the Managing Director on progress, issues or concerns
  • Sales-related duties
  • Data capturing onto a CRM system and related administration duties
  • Staying up to date on product knowledge so you’re able to effectively market products and consult students and prospective learners
