It began as 1st Contact

1st Contact was established in 1995, offering help to young working holidaymakers from South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. It is a vibrant brand and is well-known within the Antipodean and South African communities in the UK.

The shift to Sable International

1st Contact Visas was part of the 1st Contact Group and merged with Philip Gamble & Partners to form Sable International's citizenship and immigration divisions in 2016.

In 2016, our group of companies decided to become more streamlined to better represent our focus on international citizens. Bringing all our immigration and nationality services under one umbrella was integral to this process.

As a result, we are in the process of merging 1st Contact Visas into Sable International. All the services offered by the 1st Contact team are still available, all that’s happened is that we’re simplifying our corporate structure to become more efficient to better aid our clients.

Incorporating Philip Gamble & Partners

For over 20 years, Philip Gamble has investigated the intricacies of UK immigration and nationality law. He has drawn on this expert knowledge to help thousands of people to claim British citizenship.

By acquiring a larger stake of Philip Gamble & Partners, we have further brought his team into the Sable International family. This allows us to provide our clients with even better and more nuanced citizenship and immigration solutions.

WhatPassport.com

WhatPassport.com is a searchable online immigration and nationality database set up and run by Philip Gamble. It helps those seeking answers about their claims to UK visas and British passports.

The site is free to use, with a no-obligation search feature. The number of solutions are calculated and displayed after your key family data is entered.

On your results page, we display all those countries that have nationality solutions available to you and up to 12 relatives (like mother and father, children, sibling, partner, etc.) via a family tree.

Registration on the WhatPassport site gives you several key benefits (all of which are free):

  • You can search through all the nationality solutions for which you appear to qualify
  • You will receive updates whenever new solutions or anomalies are discovered where you appear to meet the criteria
