Our Mauritius Study Abroad department is looking to add a Business Relations Adviser and Marketing Co-ordinator to their team.

The Business Relations Adviser and Marketing Co-ordinator is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with schools, partners, and key stakeholders across Mauritius while co-ordinating marketing activities that support student recruitment. The role combines business development and marketing execution to increase brand awareness, generate student enquiries, and deliver events, campaigns, and promotional initiatives that support the growth of Sable International's Study Abroad services.
You’re perfect for this position if you:
- Hold a relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, Education, or a related field.
- Have proven experience in business development, relationship management, student recruitment, marketing co-ordination, or a related role.
- Have experience co-ordinating marketing campaigns, events, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Have experience using CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and digital marketing tools.
- Are familiar with video content creation and editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
Additional requirements:
- Must be available to work on Saturdays.
- Must have own reliable transport.
Your role and responsibilities
Among other tasks, your main responsibilities will include:
Relationship development and business relations
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with high schools, private schools, colleges, educational institutions, and community organisations.
- Developing and implementing engagement plans that include school presentations, parent evenings, career exhibitions, study abroad workshops, and information sessions.
- Positioning Sable International as a trusted study abroad partner within the region.
- Identifying, establishing, and maintaining partnerships with agents, education consultants, corporate organisations, and referral partners.
- Attending networking opportunities and build relationships that promote Sable International's services and enhance market presence.
Marketing and campaign co-ordination
- Co-ordinating and executing marketing campaigns across the Mauritian market in line with recruitment objectives and intake cycles.
- Developing and maintaining marketing content and templates for digital platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Assisting with copywriting, content creation, and marketing collateral development.
- Preparing, scheduling, and optimising email marketing campaigns targeting prospective students, schools, partners, and agents.
- Ensuring all marketing activities and materials comply with brand guidelines and messaging standards
Social media and content creation
- Planning, creating, editing, and publishing engaging content across digital and social media platforms.
- Producing and editing video content, including student testimonials, event highlights, promotional content, and informational videos.
- Repurposing content for multiple platforms to maximise engagement and reach.
- Monitoring social media platforms and respond to enquiries or direct them to the appropriate team members where necessary.
Events and activations
- Planning, co-ordinating, and supporting school visits, information sessions, study abroad expos, career fairs, educational workshops, and partner activations.
- Promoting events through schools, partners, email campaigns, social media, and other marketing channels.
- Co-ordinating event logistics, registration processes, promotional materials, presentations, and post-event communication.
- Maintaining relationships with schools and partners to support event participation and attendance.
CRM and reporting
- Maintaining accurate records of schools, partners, marketing activities, and prospective student enquiries within the CRM system.
- Ensuring information is accurately captured, updated, and maintained.
- Monitoring campaign, event, and relationship activity and provide regular reports on outcomes and performance.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and effective reporting.
Brand and asset management
- Maintaining consistent brand presentation across all marketing, promotional, and partner-facing materials.
- Co-ordinating the deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of physical marketing assets, including signage, event branding, billboards, and promotional displays.
- Liaising with suppliers, venues, service providers, and stakeholders regarding marketing asset requirements.
- Maintaining an organised library of approved marketing assets, templates, and promotional materials.
Market research and growth opportunities
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the student recruitment sector.
- Gathering feedback and insights from schools, partners, and prospective students to support regional growth initiatives.
- Providing recommendations and market intelligence to support future business development and marketing activities.
